Paul Catanzarite joins USC with over 30 years of HR experience. Paul has held various HR positions with Alcoa - the world’s leading producer of primary aluminum and fabricated aluminum, as well as the world’s largest miner of bauxite and refiner of alumina. Most recently, Paul served as VP of Human Resources at Reynolds Consumer Products for all operating locations. In addition, Paul holds a B.S. degree from Le Moyne College and a Master's degree from Clarkson University.
EDDIE HYMAN NAMED VP OF PURCHASING FOR UNITED SPORTING COMPANIES

Eddie will manage all purchasing activities for both Ellett Brothers and Jerry’s Sport Center facilities from the USC Chapin Office in South Carolina. "United Sporting Companies is excited to have Eddie’s leadership and experience within our purchasing division. His team building skills deliver tremendous results and we believe he’s essential to the future growth of our company," said Scott Walker, USC Chief Purchasing Officer.
Initially hired 20 years ago as an Ellett Brothers Shooting Sales Associate, Eddie quickly transitioned to the position of Marine Sales Supervisor and was named Director of Marine Sales in 2002. Most recently, Eddie earned the title of Vice President of Purchasing for Marine & Tackle in 2011.
DREW EDWARDS SELECTED AS USC CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Prior to joining USC, Drew was CFO of Fortune 500 Company Owens & Minor, a leading distributor of medical and surgical supplies. Drew’s experience includes a strong history as CFO at Tredegar Corporation as well as several years at Coopers & Lybrand. Drew is a licensed CPA and holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting. Besides being well-versed in the distribution arena, he has extensive experience with mergers/acquisitions/divestures, strategic planning and analysis, and investments.

United Sporting Companies (USC), a distribution company focused on hunting, outdoor, marine and tackle products, today stated the following:
"We are deeply saddened by the horrific events that took place in Newtown this past Friday. At this most difficult time, the families of the victims and the entire Newtown community are in our prayers."
The Company will work to comply with all changes in local, state and federal law that arise from the tragedy. USC will also begin working with the bipartisan Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus (CSC) and its 300 members in Congress to help support legislation to set standards that will help prevent future tragedies.
USC does not operate in the manufacturing, marketing or direct sales of firearms. USC only sells to Federal Firearm License retail dealers and not to individuals (either directly or through gun shows).

1st ANNUAL JERRY’S SPORT CENTER DEALER SHOW BUILDS STRONGER BONDS
Chapin, SC – United Sporting Companies (USC) is pleased to announce the successful completion of its 1st Annual 2012 Jerry’s Sport Center (JSC) Dealer Show held between June 19th & 21st within the former Bonitz Brothers warehouse in Harrisburg, PA.
"After more than 20 years of only working with a familiar voice over the phone, many dealers & sales representatives finally met face-to-face and strengthened the bond for an even brighter future. The JSC show exemplifies our continued commitment to add value for dealers" stated Pat Dispenza, JSC Director of Sales.
Hundreds of dedicated dealers took the opportunity to meet their JSC sales representative face-to-face, most of them for the first time. Over 195 show booths displaying over 300 brands were represented with countless show specials for the upcoming fall season.
